Van believes that providing exceptional client service is the foundation of a successful real estate agent. Anticipating every client’s needs, offering insightful solutions and staying in touch beyond the sale are what sets Van apart. His experience from selling in different markets has taught him how every client’s needs differ when selling or buying a home and meeting those needs with ease is what makes all the difference. Van is a Raleigh native who graduated from East Carolina University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in communications. After graduation, he became a resident of Wilmington, North Carolina, working in the film and television industry before moving to Los Angeles, California. After several years of traveling and working on various film productions, Van found a new love in real estate and soon changed careers. Van believes investing in and renovating his own properties fueled his fire to become more involved in the real estate industry. In 2001, he relocated back to the east coast and became a real estate broker in Palm Beach County, Florida and would soon settle into his real estate career just north in Vero Beach. In 2004, he moved back to Wilmington and obtained his North Carolina broker’s license, eventually finding his way back home to the Triangle. Given all of the expansive growth the Triangle has seen, Van’s knowledge in new construction has proven to be beneficial to his clients. Living and specializing in various markets from Apex and Cary to Holly Springs and Fuquay, he especially loves serving his region as an active member of the Triangle Home Builders’ Association as a volunteer for the Parade of Homes committee. With deeply planted roots in Apex, alongside his wife, three daughters, and their Cockapoo, Sunny, Van is dedicated to providing unparalleled service throughout the western Wake County areas.
